Following Christ can be hard. I’ve spent over 20 years praying for solid wisdom, uncompromising righteousness, and constant devotion to God.
For years, I struggled with obedience until it became my single prayer. I desired wholeheartedly to die to my flesh so I could live for God relentlessly.
When I was single, I battled with bad decisions. And even though I went to church, I always felt like something was missing. Once I got married, my trials didn’t end. For years my prayers seemed to go unanswered, and I began to lose confidence in God’s ability to turn things around.
But in the midnight hour, amid the most unthinkable storm of my life to date, God’s mighty hand tore down every hope, every imagination, and every idol I had placed before Him.
I had no other choice but to trust Him, literally every single day, for everything.
I realized that my journey- the good, the bad, and the ungodly was used as fire for the purification process and as iron to sharpen me to make me pleasing in His sight and ultimately more like Christ.
If you are reading this, understand it is not by chance or coincidence. It’s by design and a part of God’s plan for your life. I’m Erica Dorsett, the founder of The Noble Woman. I teach women just like you to conquer sin, stress, and depression. I train wives to demolish divorce and prevail in their positions as submissive spouses and fierce homemakers.
Let’s go back for a moment, just in case the word ”train” may have thrown you off – It shouldn’t. When we go to the gym, we look for someone to ”train” us physically. Paul says in 1 Timothy 4:8-16 (NLT), ”…train yourself to be godly. Physical training is good, but training for godliness is much better, promising benefits in this life and in the life to come.”
My husband and I have been married for eleven years. We are a blended family, and here’s the breakdown: We have ten children. I birthed five and raised seven in our home. We have five girls and five boys. The ages range from eight to late twenties. I currently homeschool our youngest three children and work alongside my husband in our family business. I also volunteer with nonprofits in my area, and I am a member of my local church.
I love cooking from scratch, baking fresh bread, photography, crocheting, sewing, and advocating for educational injustice.
But most of all, I am a woman who is passionately pursuing the Father’s praise of, ”Well done, thy good and faithful servant!”
God chose me as the Ambassador for The Noble Woman, not because my life was perfect but because I finally mastered an unrelenting, uncompromising faith in Him, His Word, and His promises.
Today, I help Christian women all across the world just like you who want to pursue salvation, submission, and stewardship with a heartfelt and powerful intensity but just don’t know how. I’ve been a Christian for over 30 years. Yet, the real reason I’ve been able to introduce women to their new, thriving spiritual life is because I understand what it feels like to be stagnant.
In the Noble Woman™ Community,
I specialize in creating prayers, products, and resources that are saturated and overflowing with scripture that will transform you from the inside out, moving you from wondering about your purpose to flawlessly flowing in it with grace.
